I am originally from the suburbs of Detroit, Michigan. I played violin from the age of 5 to 10, then sax and coronet. I started playing guitar at 14, bass at 16 and I took some piano lessons somewhere in there. I got into electronic music when I started buying drum machines, synths and samplers to replace human members of a band. I started collecting records to learn more about electronic music and started DJing.

I moved to Paris in 99, London in 2001 to complete a Bachelors Degree in The Recording Arts, back to Paris in 2004 and finally to Dublin in 2006.

I held a Dj residency at The Motor Lounge in Detroit which was rated Best Club in America by Urb Magazine. I held a residency 6 nights a week at The Korova in Paris which was owned by the Costes Brothers who own Hotel Costes. I am currently a resident at The Morgan in Dublin which received the award “Best Cocktail Bar in Ireland 2008″.

I produce music under the name CounterpoinT.
